Report: EU ambassadors to discuss gas price ceiling on Friday

MOSCOW, Dec 2 (PRIME) -- The E.U. ambassadors plan to discuss a gas price ceiling at 264 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) (2,730 euros per 1,000 cubic meters), or 11 euros lower than the European Commission proposed before, on Friday, The Financial Times reported.

The newspaper also said that the draft document obliged the member-states to report their gas demand reduction if the prices reach the threshold and the mechanism works.
